It is hard to think of anything better than enjoying a real, dynamic relationship with the creator of the universe. We at Cranleigh Baptist Church (or 'CBC' as we tend to call ourselves) are simply a group of people who believe that Jesus Christ has made such a relationship possible. Whoever we are, wherever we're from, whatever we've done, we can be friends with God!

And that's such good news, we don't want to keep it to ourselves. We want everybody to know! So let me tell you about the twin goals we set ourselves as a church.

To know Christ
…and to make Christ known

We want to know Christ. And we're convinced the best way to get to know him better is by reading and studying together the Christian Bible - which is all about him. So the Bible is the heartbeat of our church. It governs everything we do and everything we stand for.

And we want to make Christ known. We can't bear the thought of people missing out on a relationship with God through simple ignorance. So we want everybody in Cranleigh - and beyond - to have a chance to hear about Jesus, to ask their questions about the Christian faith, and come into that relationship..

Everybody is welcome at our church. We're a community of people of all ages, from all walks of life, and from all over this part of Surrey. Whoever you are, we'd love to get to know you and to welcome you personally into our community.
